Machine Work -- Tony Hill (Owner of Victory Engine & Machine, LLC (970)-565-4955)

Line Bored block with new new billet 4-bolt main caps.

Decked block to close to "zero deck".

Bored/Prepped block .030 over and honed with torque plates.

Clearanced Block for rods.

Balanced rotating assembly using 1 flex plate for the current 700R4 transmission and another flex plate for the future 4L80E transmission. Tony spent a day balancing the motor and it is smooth as silk.

1998 Vortec 1 piece rear main seal 4 bolt block. This engine block is used in 1986-99 Gen I heavy-duty applications. It has 4.00” diameter cylinder bores and four-bolt main bearing caps. It is not real easy finding these 4 bolt blocks, but I found a bare block in Framington, New Mexico at a Salvage yard for $200. This was a "bare" block and as you will see that ended up costing me a little more.
